Challenge 1 - HIRT

This weeks, challenge is a new type of training we like to call H I R T High-intensity relaxation training.

It has been a few days none of us has experienced before and a time I’m sure we won't forget. It’s important we all take the time to appreciate this and realise that we all need time to recover from this. So the first challenge is simple but its benefits are not to be underestimated.

H I R T challenge 1

Take 10 minutes and do absolutely NOTHING! Get in a comfy spot where ideally you won’t be disturbed (I know this won’t always be possible) turn off your phone and do absolutely nothing. If you want something to focus on keep a soft gaze on your surroundings or focus on breathing out. It is completely normal to overthink, have a busy mind or sometimes fall asleep. There is no judgment and be kind to yourself. I could list the benefits for pages and pages. To gain more clarity, focus and allow the body to recover take 10 minutes.
