Coronavirus update

We will not let COVID-19 stop us! We are relaxed but vigilant. We have detailed plans and procedures in place allowing us to react proactively and immediately as circumstances change.

Staying fit, active and healthy for immunity, mental health and wellbeing is so important at times like this and we are working hard to ensure we can still provide training and an avenue to connect and have fun. COVID-19 is NOT contracted through sweat!

Let’s not socially distance! Let’s physically distance and socially connect!

What are we doing?

  • As of tomorrow, you will be required to book your sessions. We are reducing class sizes to MAX of 8 to ensure everyone has physical distance around them and there is no requirement to share equipment. We will also add extra sessions in order to accommodate our larger groups. Please watch our video on the zenplanner app so you can see how to book in. You can also text 021 0269 5347 with your name and session that you want to book into.

  • Everyone will be required to bring a towel – no towel no training – and a drink bottle. Cups will no longer be available.

  • If you are in isolation or feeling anxious about coming to the gym, we will have sessions available live and recorded. You will also be able to borrow equipment to train with. And if you are live feel free to join the banter!

  • There will be no use of our boxing gloves. If you box you will need to bring our own or order through the gym. Please speak to Paul if you need some.

  • The ipad is not available for check-in. Your coach will do this for you.

  • We will not be allowing any casual drop ins from tourists (we do hate having to do this however your safety is our top priority and we can’t guarantee that self isolation will have occurred).

  • Also we would like to reiterate if you are unwell AT ALL please DO NOT come to the gym.


All of this is on top of our previous email to you all with increased hygiene requirements.

If you are experiencing financial hardship through job loss or reduction of hours please contact us as we have a hardship membership available.

We have some great things planned to keep physically distant and socially connected if/when the virus hits but until then it is training as usual. We would ask everyone to please check emails as they come through or Facebook for further information and any timetable changes. Because of the speed of the virus, we will be actioning any changes immediately.

If you are experiencing any anxiety or feeling stressed and overwhelmed or just plain bored, please let us know. We have had offers from some of our amazing members to be on call to chat to anyone that needs a friend to talk to, or we have a network of trained mental health professionals that we can recommend if required. This is a stressful time and we don’t want any of our community feeling alone, isolated and lonely! We can help and please ASK! It is a sign of huge strength reaching out.

I would really like to thank you all for your support of our business and our team. We are looking at this with a glass half full mentality. Through this, we are being forced to think outside the square. It’s exciting! We believe we will see kindness in abundance, more value placed on people and friendship, not things, and our community supporting each other to get through a hard time economically (us included).

As I said at the start Andrew, myself and the team are currently relaxed and keeping on keeping on. It’s training as usual and we look forward to seeing you in the gym!

So what do we offer?

We want our members to be able to jump into any session and mix and match. With strength, boxing, low or high intensity, core, run group, spin, spartan options available ‘variety is the spice of life’ is something we embrace.

We want people to be able to have an integrated programme where it is dynamic and set up to provide results. Where members can do strength, core and HIIT all in 1 week if they want. Where people can get help to achieve their personal goals, where the programme fits the people not the people fitting the programme. It is about individualised training within a community.

We want an environment where health and wellbeing is important. Where people know we care and know that it is ok to move at 50% because they are tired or stressed and not feel pressure to “compete.”

Mostly we want an environment where people matter! We want somewhere where you can turn up and feel welcome, have a laugh and be part of something.
